Reports and interpretation

Choose a report in AstroCarto by the question you need answered. Use a Personal Report for a broader view across life themes, a Best Places Report to investigate discovered candidates for a goal and region, or a City Comparison Report to weigh the cities you selected.

Which report fits my question?

Your questionReport and outputWhere to start
How do different places relate to several areas of my life?Personal Astrocartography Report. A place portfolio, five life-theme verdicts, city deep dives, line and other calculation evidence, and sensitivity checks in the complete format.Read the Personal Report guide. Its city matrix belongs to that report’s candidate set.
Which candidates should I investigate for one goal and region?Best Places Report. The complete explanation of Find My Best Places candidates, with ranking reasons, support, cautions, and trade-offs.Use the discovery report guide. A missing city is not automatically unsuitable.
How do my two to four realistic options compare?Full AI City Comparison Report. A written comparison of your selected cities under one goal, including city-specific reasons and practical next checks.Use the city-comparison report guide. First place is relative to this shortlist.

What should I check before paying for a report?

Check which birth details it uses, which places and goals it covers, how explanations connect to calculated evidence, what limitations remain, and what you can save or revisit. A longer report is not necessarily a better match for your task. A free overview or candidate card does not show everything included in a complete report.

If you already have job offers in two cities, a comparison can answer a more useful question than a broader discovery report. If you want to understand work, relationships, home, growth, and travel together, start with the Personal Report.

How should I read a report?

  1. Confirm the birth details, report type, places, and goal or theme. A different candidate set can produce a different order.
  2. Read the main conclusion together with its biggest caution or trade-off. A leading place can still have mixed evidence.
  3. Check the lines or other evidence used for that city and theme. Distance, angle, and evidence type matter more than a planet name alone.
  4. Keep the uncertainty and practical constraints in the decision: housing, jobs, visas, and family needs require separate research.

The public Personal Report sample illustrates a complete personal report using fictional birth details. Its overall leader, Orlando, still has mixed evidence and a relationship trade-off. Follow the Personal Report reading guide to work through that example, or review how the calculations work. The sample does not demonstrate every other report mode.

How do I ask a useful follow-up?

Start from the relevant report’s Ask AI action so its context accompanies your question. Name the city, theme, and tension you want explained—for example, “Why can Orlando lead overall while relationships remain mixed?” This is a suggested question, not a quotation from a generated answer.

Compare the answer with the report’s evidence and limitations. Opening one report does not give the conversation every report or birth profile in your account. AI follow-up has its own access and credit conditions.

How do I reopen a report or keep a PDF?

Use My Astrology Reports in your account menu for saved reports and their status. If generation is continuing in the background, follow the report’s status link rather than starting from a map screenshot. A report marked as generating is not a completed result.

Use the report’s PDF action when available. A complete Personal Report may show Prepare PDF before Download PDF. A PDF captures that report; changing your birth details later does not update the downloaded file. Saving a city to My Places and downloading a map are separate actions.

Why is a report or action still locked?

  • Check the account.

Sign in with the account that owns the report or relevant allowance.

  • Check the report type.

Personal Report allowances, complete discovery-report access, and City Comparison Report credits are different conditions. Earlier Personal Report allowances can also apply to an earlier format.

  • Check the action.

A saved birth profile, an unlocked map, or access to basic comparison does not by itself grant every complete report or unlimited AI follow-up.

  • Check the status and input.

Generating, failed, unavailable, and locked are different states. Complete Personal Reports require an accurate birth time; a purchase does not correct uncertain input.

Review current plans and allowances. If an expected report remains inaccessible, contact support with its type and the message shown.
