Information We Collect

My Places Data

When you actively choose Save, My Places stores a city-level preference in your account so you can organize and reuse your location shortlist across devices.

• Stored information: City and country names, administrative area, city-center coordinates, timezone, your selected goal and status, and creation or usage timestamps.
• Information not stored: My Places does not store birth details, chart data, planetary lines, scores, reports, AI conversations, or free-form notes.
• Your controls: You can edit or delete individual places, clear the full list, or delete your account from the account menu.

Stored Astro Data

When you explicitly choose to store a person, Stored Astro Data saves that person's birth details in your signed-in account so you can reuse them across supported calculators and devices.

• Stored information: Nickname, relationship type, birth date, known or unknown birth-time status, birth time when provided, birth location, coordinates, timezone, consent version, and creation or usage timestamps.
• Other people's details: If you save details for a partner, family member, or friend, you are responsible for having permission to use and store that information.
• Security and purpose: Each record in Stored Astro Data is encrypted at rest and used only for the storage and calculator actions you request. It is not added to analytics events.
• Your controls: You can edit, export, or permanently delete individual records, delete all Stored Astro Data, or delete the account. Account deletion also deletes all records in Stored Astro Data.

Two-Person City Analysis

When you use Find the Best Places for Two People, we process both people's birth dates, birth times when provided, birthplaces, selected cities, and goal to calculate shared city results. Your browser temporarily retains the entered details so you can continue after signing in or paying. These shared city results are not automatically saved as permanent reports in your account. Saving a reusable birth profile is a separate action in Stored Astro Data. You must have permission to use another person's details.

Best Time to Move Data

When you generate a Best Time to Move result while signed in, AstroCarto saves the calculation inputs and result in your account so you can reopen it and see the complete result when your account includes access.

• Stored information: Your selected city and goal, the 12-month calculation range, encrypted birth and chart calculation inputs, the generated preview and complete timing result, result status, and creation or usage timestamps.
• Security and purpose: Birth and chart calculation inputs are encrypted at rest. We use this data to calculate, display, reopen, and unlock the Best Time to Move result you request.
• Analytics: Birth details and chart calculation inputs are not added to analytics events. General product analytics may record the selected city and goal, result status, and number of timing windows.
• Account access: Timing results are associated with your signed-in account. You need to use the same account to reopen or unlock them.

Chrome Extension Data Handling

If you use the AstroCarto Chrome extension, the extension processes the birth details and place information you choose to enter so it can generate an astrocartography chart and run city checks through astrocarto.net.

• Chart inputs: The extension may process birth date, birth time, birth location, timezone, latitude, and longitude when you request chart generation.
• API requests: Chart inputs and city queries are sent to astrocarto.net only to generate astrocartography charts, resolve locations, or check a selected city against chart lines.
• Local profile storage: Profiles saved inside the extension are stored locally in Chrome storage on your device and are not sold as personal data.
• Selected text: The extension does not read browsing history. It reads selected page text only when you actively use the context menu action, and that selected text is treated as a city query.
• Advertising: We do not use Chrome extension data for advertising targeting and do not sell user data.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• Providing Services: Managing accounts, processing transactions, providing support, and delivering site functionality.
• Improving Services: Understanding usage patterns, optimizing the user experience, and developing new features.
• Communication: Contacting you about your account, service changes, new features, or related products.

• Data Portability: Request an electronic copy of information you provided to us.
