Cafe Astrology: Birth Charts and Relocation

Cafe Astrology offers free birth charts and paid relocation reports. Just looking for your natal chart? Open AstroCarto’s Birth Chart Calculator. Considering a move or trip? The form below creates your free AstroCarto astrocartography map, where you can check a destination and compare cities. City checks and comparisons have a limited free allowance.

Cafe Astrology Birth Charts and Your Starting Point

Cafe Astrology’s free birth-chart tools describe planets by sign, house, and aspect. Its interpretations help you explore themes such as identity, relationships, work, and home. If you are trying to understand a placement in your chart, those explanations may answer your question without any location analysis.

The question changes when a real place becomes part of the plan. Suppose you have been reading about career themes in your natal chart and are offered a job in another city. Your natal interpretation remains the same wherever you take the job; it does not show which planetary lines pass near the proposed destination. You now have a place to examine alongside the role, working conditions, and cost of moving.

For that location question, generate your map above using your original birth details, then use Check City to inspect the proposed destination. The visible planets, angles, and distances show which astrological themes to investigate there. For example, an MC line relates to career and public life, while an IC line raises a different question about home and private life. Use those findings to decide what to examine more closely; the map does not assess the job offer itself.

If you only need your natal chart, use Cafe Astrology’s free chart service or AstroCarto’s Birth Chart Calculator. You can return to the map when a destination becomes relevant.

Cafe Astrology Relocation Charts and Birth Time

Cafe Astrology’s relocation tutorial emphasizes a crucial rule: a relocated chart must preserve the actual moment of birth. Simply replacing your birthplace while keeping the same local clock time can produce a different birth moment when the two places use different time zones.

This matters when you have found a destination and want to understand how the chart changes there. Planetary zodiac positions stay fixed for that birth moment, while the destination changes the angles and house placements. A changed house and a nearby map line are related ways of exploring location, but they are different outputs.

Use AstroCarto’s Relocation Chart Calculator for that single-destination question. Enter your birth information and destination separately, then inspect the relocated Ascendant and natal-versus-relocated house table. The table helps you see which placements changed before deciding what to interpret. If you are choosing between several destinations, return to the map workflow here and compare those cities under the goal you care about.

AstroCarto’s relocation calculator uses Whole Sign houses. Horizons defaults to Placidus and allows other settings on request, so house placements may differ even when the birth details match. Check the house system before comparing the two outputs.

In the map form above, Birth Location always means where you were born. Select the destination after the map appears. You do not need to invent a new birth time for each city.

Cafe Astrology Horizons Reports and Place Ratings

Cafe Astrology’s paid Horizons Relocation Report includes a relocation chart and a scoring graph for several life themes. It also considers material such as angular planets, paran latitude lines, and transits and progressions. This gives you both a location rating and a fuller interpretation of the selected place.

The next question may arise when your choices change. Suppose you have explored one destination, but a job offer makes a second city realistic and staying where you live remains an option. You now have a specific shortlist to investigate under the same career question. A general interest in the original place does not explain the differences between all three choices.

Generate your AstroCarto map and use Compare Cities to examine two to four candidates under one goal. Read the support, caution, and contributing line evidence for each place. This helps you identify whether a difference is worth investigating, or whether two options need closer attention before treating their order as meaningful.

AstroCarto’s comparison is a separate line-based analysis. Its ranking does not reproduce the Horizons graph or the report’s timing analysis. If the ratings differ, check the selected goal, the contributing planets and angles, and their distances from each city before comparing the conclusions. If you do not yet have a shortlist, Find My Best Places can help you explore candidates by goal and region first.

From Cafe Astrology’s Relocation Map to a City

The Horizons material also describes relocation maps and planetary angular lines. A map helps you see geographic patterns; the next useful detail is where your actual destination sits within them.

A line passing through a region may be close to one city and much farther from another. Even within a place that interests you, a second nearby planetary theme can add a consideration that the first line did not answer. Before interpreting the whole region as one experience, check the place you can realistically visit or live in.

In AstroCarto, use Check City to inspect the destination’s visible line evidence, including the planet, angle, approximate distance, and strength. Read the signals together. If one seems supportive and another raises a question, open Ask AI from the city result to explore those particular findings. The conversation receives the AstroCarto city evidence, so the follow-up can focus on the relationship between the signals rather than a generic description of the city. AI access and usage limits are shown in the product.

Which Result Answers Your Location Question?

Your question Relevant Cafe Astrology resource How to continue in AstroCarto
What does my birth chart describe? Free natal charts and interpretations Use the Birth Chart Calculator; start a map when your question becomes geographic
What changes in my chart at one destination? Relocation-chart tutorial and Horizons report Inspect the relocated Ascendant and house changes in the Relocation Chart Calculator
How do my realistic city options differ for one goal? Location themes and ratings in Horizons Compare two to four cities and inspect the support and caution behind their order
Which map signals matter around a named city? Relocation map and planetary interpretations Check the city’s distances and angles, then follow up on a specific finding

These are different research questions, so you do not need every tool for every visit. A natal interpretation may answer your original question completely. When a move or trip makes location relevant, use the output that matches the decision you are actually investigating.

From a Place Rating to a Question You Can Investigate

Begin with one goal and the cities you can choose. Including your current city can make “stay or move” more concrete than comparing only unfamiliar destinations. After the comparison, look at both support and caution: a higher-ranked place can still have a theme that deserves attention.

If the comparison highlights a planet you did not see in your initial city preview, check the scope of each result. Check City describes visible map lines; Compare Cities uses all calculated planetary lines, including ones hidden on the map. The two views can therefore emphasize different evidence without answering exactly the same question.

When the reason for a ranking remains unclear, open Ask AI from the comparison result. It carries the selected goal and city evidence into the conversation. Ask which signal explains the difference, how a caution relates to your goal, or where the options are close. If career looks promising but home life is still unresolved, examine the home goal separately rather than assuming one favorable result answers both.

Keep practical findings beside the astrological reading. Job conditions, housing, travel time, and family arrangements are your own research inputs; the location score does not calculate them. The useful endpoint is a clearer shortlist and a specific next question, not a prediction that a city will deliver a particular life.

The core AstroCarto map is free without sign-in. City checks and comparisons have a limited free allowance. Some planetary lines, reports, and advanced features require paid access, and AI has separate usage limits. Check the requirements shown in the product.

Cafe Astrology and Relocation FAQ

Answers about Cafe Astrology charts, Horizons reports, birth time, and exploring your locations with AstroCarto.

Does Cafe Astrology offer relocation analysis?

Yes. Cafe Astrology publishes guidance on relocating a natal chart and sells the Horizons Relocation Report. Its location resources go beyond the free natal-chart tools. Use the official product page for the current report contents and ordering information.

Is the Cafe Astrology relocation report free?

Horizons is a paid report. Cafe Astrology also offers free birth charts and other free calculations, which should not be confused with that product. The form on this page creates AstroCarto’s free core map; its city checks, comparisons, and advanced features have the access limits described above.

Should I enter my destination as my birthplace?

No. Enter your real birthplace in this page’s map form and choose the destination in the result. For a relocated chart, use the dedicated calculator’s separate destination field. Cafe Astrology’s relocation guide explains why replacing a birth city without preserving the same instant across time zones can change the chart incorrectly.

Can I use these tools without an accurate birth time?

Cafe Astrology’s free natal tools provide an unknown-time option, with time-sensitive information omitted or limited. Its Horizons report requires a birth time. AstroCarto also lets you indicate an unknown birth time for the map, but precise angles and location readings depend on that input, and some advanced tools require an exact time. Do not treat an estimated-time map as a precise city recommendation.

Will AstroCarto give the same scores as Horizons?

Not necessarily. The products use different outputs and interpretation methods. AstroCarto’s city comparison examines calculated line evidence for a selected goal; it does not reproduce the Horizons report or its scoring system. Look at what supports a conclusion before comparing the labels or rankings.

Is AstroCarto connected to Cafe Astrology?

No. AstroCarto is an independent service. The form here generates an AstroCarto map from the birth details you enter; it does not retrieve Cafe Astrology charts or import purchased reports. For an existing Cafe Astrology report or order, use its official service.
