An astrocartography map shows where planets were rising, setting, overhead, or below the horizon at the moment of birth. The lines extend across the world, but a map image alone does not tell you how close a particular city is to one of them.

A closer line is not automatically better. A nearby Saturn line may require a different response than a nearby Jupiter line. A line can also be close while another planet-angle combination is more relevant to your question.

You should also consider practical conditions outside the map:

  • housing and cost of living;

  • health care and safety;
  • family responsibilities;
  • language and social support;

A comparison keeps the birth data and evaluation frame consistent. It lets you examine:

  • supportive and cautionary evidence;

Do not compare one city by exact calculated distance and another only by visual map position. Use the same evidence process for each candidate.
