We build AstroCarto and Astrocartography Chart IO and write guides to their maps, location readings, and city comparisons.

Methodology: This guide was checked against the .io public homepage and the product's map and city-comparison source. The three-city walkthrough is an illustrative setup, not a generated personal reading.

Astrocartography Chart IO lets you generate a personal map, inspect locations, and compare two to four cities using your birth details. All planetary lines, complete map location readings, city checks, and standard city comparisons are available without signing in or usage limits. You can begin with somewhere familiar and explore how other places differ for the same goal.

Developed by the team behind AstroCarto, the site gives you a practical starting point when you already have places you want to investigate. This guide follows a simple sequence: create your map, check one city, then compare your shortlist while keeping both support and challenges in view. Personal reports, full AI comparison reports, and HD downloads have separate access requirements.

Create a Map From Your Birth Details

Enter your birth date, time, and birthplace in Astrocartography Chart IO, then select Generate Your Chart. These inputs establish the personal map used when you explore different destinations. Keep the birthplace as the place where you were born; choose travel or relocation destinations after the map appears.

Use the most reliable birth time you have. The unknown-time option uses noon as a placeholder, which can change the positions of planetary lines. Treat that map as an estimate. Complete personal reports and timing analyses require an exact birth time; a noon placeholder does not meet that requirement.

Check a Familiar City First

Once the map appears, open Check City and search for your current home or somewhere you know well. Astrocartography Chart IO helps you inspect the planetary context around that place: nearby lines, approximate distances, and the themes associated with them.

Read the planet and angle together. For example, Sun–MC relates to career and public life in astrology, while Moon–IC relates to home and family. Distance helps establish the context, but several influences can contribute to the same location reading.

You can also click a location directly on the map in Astrocartography Chart IO to open its reading. A familiar place gives you concrete questions to bring to that explanation: what does it say about work, relationships, or everyday life, and what would you want clarified before exploring somewhere new?

Build a Shortlist Around One Goal

Use Compare Cities in Astrocartography Chart IO when you have two to four destinations to consider. Suppose you live in Toronto and are considering Montreal and Vancouver. This is a hypothetical shortlist illustrating the setup; no personal results or city rankings are being claimed here.

  1. Open Compare Cities from your generated map.
  2. Search for Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver, and add each intended location.
  3. Choose one shared goal, such as Career & recognition.
  4. Run the comparison and read the support and caution for each city.

Your current home serves as a familiar reference. Each destination is evaluated using the same birth details and selected goal, making the question consistent across the shortlist.

If home life becomes your priority, compare the same places again using Home & emotional stability. Review what changes in the explanation. A city can stand out for one goal while presenting a more mixed picture for another.

Read the Reasons Behind the Comparison

Astrocartography Chart IO presents support, caution, and calculated evidence alongside the compared cities. Read the support and caution levels first, then inspect the planetary signals and distances behind them.

Result item What to examine Questions to ask while reading
Main support The support level, followed by the main planetary signals Which planet and angle provide the strongest support?
Caution signal The caution level and any associated planetary signal Does strong support come with high caution?
Why it ranks here The explanation for the city’s position Which line, distance, and strength explain this position?
Calculated evidence The planetary lines, distances, and strength labels Which signals support the reading, and which add caution?

A high position can still come with meaningful cautions. Equally, a weaker result may reflect limited evidence for that particular goal. Read those explanations before treating the order as a decision.

Astrocartography Chart IO uses all calculated planetary lines for city comparisons, including lines you have hidden on the map. A visibility toggle changes what you see while exploring; it does not remove that planet from the comparison. This helps explain why a result may discuss an influence you did not notice on screen.

Turn the Reading Into Questions You Can Investigate

For each candidate, note the support that interests you, the caution you want to understand, and one practical question to research. A career-focused comparison might prompt you to examine local opportunities or the kind of work environment you would encounter. A home-focused comparison might lead you to investigate housing and everyday routines.

Astrological interpretations have not been scientifically validated as predictions of life in a city. Keep practical research and firsthand experience alongside the reading. The useful outcome is a clearer set of places and questions to investigate.

Know When You Need More Than the Free Tools

Astrocartography Chart IO provides the basic map, complete location readings, city checks, and standard comparisons for free. These cover the workflow described above. Sign in if you want to save locations to My Places and return to them later.

The full AI city comparison report explains your selected comparison in more detail. Before generating a new report, sign in, confirm your plan includes access, and check that your credit balance covers the displayed cost. These requirements do not affect ordinary free city comparisons.

Personal reports offer guided readings, and HD downloads let you keep a high-resolution map. Check the relevant package or allowance for either feature.

Start With One City, Then Compare Your Options

Begin with a place you know in Astrocartography Chart IO. After generating your map, open Check City and review its location context. When you are ready, open Compare Cities, add your current home and candidate destinations, and select the goal that matters most to you.

Read each city’s support and caution, then expand Calculated evidence for the underlying signals. Use that comparison to decide what to research next.

Explore your cities with Astrocartography Chart IO.
