Set Up Your AstroClick Travel Birth Record

Find AstroClick Travel under Locational Astrology in Astro.com’s Free Horoscopes menu. The entry page offers a birth-data setup for new visitors and a login for existing profiles.

Before creating an AstroClick Travel map, prepare your date of birth, recorded birth time, and birthplace. Enter the local clock time at birth; Astrodienst’s birth-data form handles time-zone and daylight-saving corrections. Check the selected town and country, especially when several places share a name.

Keep those details unchanged when exploring another destination. The birthplace belongs in the birth record; a city you might move to belongs in your destination research. Replacing one with the other would give you a different starting chart.

To explore the same question here, enter your birth details in AstroCarto and generate the map. Select your current city first.

Read the Full Planet and Angle Label

An AstroClick Travel planet has four lines of the same color, corresponding to AS, DS, MC, and IC. Read the symbol and angle together. Color alone cannot tell you which of the four you are inspecting.

Use this angle key when taking notes from AstroClick Travel:

Label Angle Question to explore in your own circumstances
AS Ascendant How might I express myself and approach daily life?
DS Descendant What relationship and cooperation themes deserve attention?
MC Midheaven What public, career, or visibility themes might I examine?
IC Imum Coeli What would feeling settled, private, or at home mean here?

These are interpretation prompts, not predictions of events. In your AstroCarto city result, keep the planet and angle beside the line distance. A note such as “Venus, MC, distance shown in my result” is more useful than “a Venus place”: it preserves what you actually examined.

Choose a Line, Crossing, or Destination

AstroClick Travel offers explanations when you select a planet, line, crossing, or map point. Note what you clicked before applying the reading to a city.

For an AstroClick Travel reading that interests you, write down the place you actually have in mind. A line passing through a country does not establish that it passes near your intended destination. A crossing you selected elsewhere is also a different location from your proposed neighborhood.

In AstroCarto, select that destination and inspect the nearby lines and their distances. Use Check City for a fuller place assessment. Read support and caution together: an appealing theme is a reason to investigate, while a competing theme identifies a question to keep open.

Read Your AstroCarto City Comparison Results

After exploring AstroClick Travel, choose two realistic destinations. Generate your AstroCarto map with the same birth details, open Compare Cities, and add both destinations. Select Home if settling in is your priority. Read each city’s supporting lines and cautions before treating its rank as your answer.

What your result shows How to understand it What to check next
Support and a caution for the same goal A city may support your goal while raising a concern that its rank does not resolve. Read both findings’ line evidence. Check whether the caution affects an essential priority for your move.
Weak or limited line evidence There is limited line evidence for your chosen goal. This does not establish that the city is unsuitable. Review the relevant planets, angles, and distances. Keep practical suitability open for separate investigation.
Different support for Home and Career A result for one priority does not automatically answer another. The goal comparison helps you see where the themes differ. Choose your main goal before comparing cities. Review the other priority separately if it also matters to your decision.

Keep an AstroClick Travel shortlist with a reason to explore each city and a question still to investigate. For example, a promising career reading still leaves the question of settling in open. Review Home separately, then investigate housing and daily routines yourself.

AstroClick Travel and AstroCarto for Destination Tasks

Use the same birth record when comparing AstroClick Travel and AstroCarto, and match the line or city. Each row follows one task; interpretations may differ.

Your task In AstroClick Travel In AstroCarto
Understand the same planetary line Select the line, identify its planet and angle, and read its explanation. Identify the matching planet and angle in your map’s line details and read its meaning. Check a destination separately when you want to apply that theme to a place.
Check the same city Select that city’s map point and read the interpretation for the location. Use Check City for that destination. Review support and cautions alongside the planets, angles, and distances behind the assessment.
Compare two cities for a home goal Read both cities’ map-point interpretations with the same question about settling in. Add both cities to Compare Cities and select Home. Review their support and cautions together, including the lines behind each result.

When AstroClick Travel has helped you identify candidates, AstroCarto gives your comparison a consistent question. One selected goal applies across the shortlist, with the supporting lines and cautions kept beside each city. Use those reasons to decide which destinations deserve further investigation and which trade-offs you need to understand first.

AstroCarto’s core map is free and requires no sign-in. City checks and basic comparisons have limited free allowances; further access is shown in the tool. Start with the map, then choose the depth of interpretation you need.

Check Unexpected Results Before Interpreting Them

If your AstroClick Travel notes and another map seem different, start with the inputs and the selected location. An explanation about one line is not the same observation as an assessment of every nearby line around a city.

  • Check the birth record: Review the date, local time, and selected birthplace. Keep a record of uncertainty instead of silently substituting a convenient time.
  • Check the point: Make sure both results concern the same city or coordinate, rather than a nearby crossing or another town with the same name.
  • Check the label: Compare the complete planet and angle, not just a color or planet name.
  • Check the question: A general line interpretation and a goal-specific city assessment organize information differently. Read the underlying findings before treating their summaries as a contradiction.

Keep your original AstroClick Travel notes while investigating. If a discrepancy remains, leave it unresolved until you have checked the relevant settings or calculation details. This guide does not claim identical outputs between services.

Make Your Shortlist Easier to Evaluate

An AstroClick Travel session can start with curiosity about an unfamiliar region. A useful next step is to name the destinations you could realistically choose and the question you want answered there.

Keep the Evidence Beside the Interpretation

Record the place, planet, angle, and distance together. In an AstroCarto city assessment, line details give context to the support and caution summaries. If a recommendation feels broad, return to those details before applying it to your plans.

Give Each City the Same Question

Use Compare Cities for a consistent goal, then inspect the reasons behind each result. A place can have mixed findings. Keeping its drawbacks visible helps you decide which practical questions to investigate, rather than treating an appealing summary as a guarantee.

Go Deeper When a Place Stays on Your List

If your AstroClick Travel research has narrowed to a serious candidate, a Personal Astrocartography Report in AstroCarto offers a fuller interpretation of location themes and trade-offs. Follow the access requirements shown in the tool. Use the report to organize your questions alongside research into housing, employment, and daily life.

AstroClick Travel Questions

Birth records, map interpretation, and using your own destination results.

Is AstroClick Travel free?

Astrodienst lists it in Free Horoscopes under Locational Astrology. Its other reports and services have their own access conditions. The independent AstroCarto map on this page is also free to generate; additional city checks, comparisons, and full reports follow the allowances shown in our tool.

Does this form open my AstroClick Travel profile?

No. This is an AstroCarto form, with its own calculation and results. Enter your birth details here to create a separate map. It does not sign in to My Astro or import saved Astrodienst profiles.

Should I enter my destination as my birthplace?

No. Use the place where you were born in the birth record. After generating your map, investigate your destination as a separate location. Keep this distinction when comparing your AstroClick Travel notes with another service.

What if I do not know my birth time?

Do not invent an exact time to make a map look complete. AstroCarto has an unknown-time option, but precise angle and location interpretations remain uncertain without reliable timing. Keep that uncertainty in your AstroClick Travel notes too, and revisit your destination research if you find a reliable birth record.

Does a city need a line directly through it?

You can examine a destination and its surrounding lines even when none crosses the city center. Record the distances shown in your AstroCarto result and keep weak or distant evidence separate from stronger nearby findings. Absence of a direct crossing is not evidence that nothing meaningful can happen there.

Can AstroClick Travel tell me where I should move?

Use the exploration to develop questions about a destination. A move also depends on your actual work, budget, relationships, and living conditions. Compare realistic places for one goal, inspect mixed findings, and investigate practical constraints before making a commitment.
